Snow! There are dustings, there are flurries and there are snowstorms. But for the Northeast U.S., there’s a blizzard ahead. 75 mph winds and 2-3 feet of snow in some areas could lead to the worst storm since 1978, expected to hit states from Pennsylvania through Maine starting Friday. And for those whose exposure to the west coast sun has bleached their memory: Snow (noun): Atmospheric water vapor frozen into ice crystals and falling in light white flakes or lying on the ground as a white layer.
